Fall Production Classes
This semester program includes....

Professional instruction and coaching in singing, acting, dancing and other theater skills

Development in student's walk with Christ as we pray and talk about Biblical principles together

Participation in 1 performance of a theatrical production of The Music Man Jr.

Soaring Stars

Fee: $295
Ages 7-10
(students must be 7 years old by the first day of class)

These classes are designed for students who crave an in-depth musical theater experience. This cast will participate in the days and hours listed below, audition for solos and principal roles, and this would be the featured cast for the November production. This cast will have 1 performance.
Rehearsal time:
1:00-3:45PM

Aug: 18, 25 | Sep: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 | Oct: 13, 20, 27| Nov: 3

Two Payment Options (spots are not secured until a payment is made)
1. Pay In Full
The entire amount is paid at the time of registration.
2. Payment Plan
Pay in 3 installments. There is an added $20 payment plan fee for this option. At the time of registration, families will pay the $20 fee as well as $100 toward the standard tuition. The second payment of $100 will be due by 9/1, and the final $95 will be due on 10/1. We hope you understand that if payments are not received on time, we are unable to have students participate.

Cancellations/Refunds
North Star Theater Company will issue a full refund for cancellations made between 5/2/26-6/2/26, minus a mandatory $30.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations between 6/2/26-8/4/26 qualify for a partial refund. Cancellations 8/5/26 and beyond will not be refunded.
DIRECTOR
Alyssa Turner

Mrs. Turner has had a lifelong passion for singing and performing. She spent many of her teenage years involved in musical theatre, where she developed a love for storytelling, creativity, and building confidence through the arts. She has been classicaly trained as a singer and earned numerous awards including Branch Honors for Certificate of Merit ® and numerous first place awards in VOCE singing competitions. You can find her with her guitar, singing locally around Columbia.
Mrs. Turner is passionate about creating a fun, encouraging environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves, trying new things, and growing both creatively and personally. Her Christian faith is an important part of who she is and inspires the way she teaches—with kindness, patience, and a heart for uplifting others. She believes performing arts is a powerful way for kids to build confidence, teamwork skills, and joy. She is incredibly excited to be part of this program and looks forward to helping each student discover their unique voice and shine on and off the stage.​
