Developing Christ-Followers Through Musical Theater
Fall Semester and Production

Based on Roald Dahl’s book of the same name, James and the Giant Peach is a whimsical and magical journey of one boy. James is orphaned and sent to the only family he has, the greedy and cruel Aunt Spiker and Aunt Sponge. In an effort to change his life and find a real family, James goes on an adventure after creating a giant peach and human-sized insects. This classic book comes to life on stage in a production full of comedy and heart-felt moments.
Fall Production Classes
God has provided each student with unique talents that are meant for the stage! North Star Theater Company longs to encourage students to develop those skills of singing, dancing, and acting, and provide a space to grow in their musical theater knowledge as well as perform for others! Students who participate in this semester courses will learn stage direction, theater vocabulary, stage presence, and acting skills. They will be taught new choreography that challenges all levels, from beginning to advanced. Proper vocal skills will be practiced as students learn pieces of music and understand how to harmonize and develop musicality. My prayer is that they feel accomplished, develop a stronger passion for the performing arts, and give glory and worship to the Lord through it all.
