The Musical Theatre Summer Camp is a 5-day intensive camp. Students will have fun working with Mrs. Hart to explore different challenges of the genre. Students will work on acting, singing, dancing and the integration of the disciplines.  No audition is required for acceptance into this program. The final day of the camp, all students will be part of our final evening performance on our stage, with costumes, lighting, and props.

This will be a faith-based group and I look forward to praying with my students as well as leading the performers in Biblical standards as we develop our talents and friendships.  Parents can feel confident knowing that their children are not participating in anything that is inappropriate.

The students will be dropped off 5-10 minutes early daily. We will begin promptly at the designated start times.  Each day, the students will work on singing, dancing and acting with themed, broadway-style music. Each session is designed to match the age-level appropriately as we will be working hard (and having fun) during every minute of our time together.

·The minimum number of students is 10 for each age group. If it doesn't meet the minimum number of required students,  we will offer a full tuition refund.  The maximum number of students is 25 for each age group.

·The summer camp's schedule is fixed, so there will be no make-up classes offered.  There will be no refunds once the camp has begun.

What You Can Expect

Let's Perform!

God has provided each student with unique talents that are meant for the stage!  North Star Theater Company longs to encourage students to develop those skills of singing, dancing, and acting, and provide a space to grow in their musical theater knowledge as well as perform for others!

Students who participate in our summer camps and semester courses will learn stage direction, theater vocabulary, stage presence, and acting skills.  They will be taught new choreography that challenges all levels from beginning to advanced.  Proper vocal skills will be practiced as students learn pieces of music and understand how to harmonize and develop musicality.
