Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.  The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. With expanded characters, new songs, and more thrills, this new adaptation of the beloved story will open up “a whole new world”!

This show is recommended for audiences 5 years old or older.  The performance will last about 1 hour 30 minutes with a 15 minute intermission.

Let's Perform!

God has provided each student with unique talents that are meant for the stage!  North Star Theater Company longs to encourage students to develop those skills of singing, dancing, and acting, and provide a space to grow in their musical theater knowledge as well as perform for others!

Students who participate in our summer camps and semester courses will learn stage direction, theater vocabulary, stage presence, and acting skills.  They will be taught new choreography that challenges all levels from beginning to advanced.  Proper vocal skills will be practiced as students learn pieces of music and understand how to harmonize and develop musicality.
