"Seussical Jr." is a musical that intertwines the plots of several Dr. Seuss stories, primarily focusing on Horton the Elephant's journey to protect the tiny world of Who-ville, which exists on a speck of dust. He also takes care of an abandoned egg for Mayzie La Bird. Throughout the show, Horton faces ridicule and a trial for his belief in the Whos and his commitment to the egg. Ultimately, the themes of loyalty, friendship, and the power of imagination triumph

This show is recommended for audiences 5 years old or older.  The performance will last about 1 hour 30 minutes with a 15 minute intermission.

Let's Perform!

God has provided each student with unique talents that are meant for the stage!  North Star Theater Company longs to encourage students to develop those skills of singing, dancing, and acting, and provide a space to grow in their musical theater knowledge as well as perform for others!

Students who participate in our summer camps and semester courses will learn stage direction, theater vocabulary, stage presence, and acting skills.  They will be taught new choreography that challenges all levels from beginning to advanced.  Proper vocal skills will be practiced as students learn pieces of music and understand how to harmonize and develop musicality.
